Virtual Business Consultants, Inc. was founded by Johnita Glover, CEO and Tracy Jackson President and COO who have over 10 years of executive and business administration experience. We have the experience of working in legal, accounting, non-profit and grant management operations. Our goal is to assist small business professionals and entrepreneurs in running their business efficiently and effectively while creating more time for them to focus on their core business tasks and income generating activities.


What services do you offer? Among the various services you provide, what are your most in-demand types of services?

We specialize in Administrative and Secretarial Services, Calendar and Email Management and Database and Client Management Services for entrepreneurs, nonprofit organizations and small businesses. Our most demand services are calendar and email management, appointment scheduling, mail merging, document editing, event coordination and voicemail services.

What are the must-have qualities to succeed as a virtual assistant?

The must have qualities to succeed as a virtual assistant is adequate communication, patience and understanding of your clients needs and overall business functionality. As well as giving our clients the ability and know-how to delegating their work.

What were the challenges you faced when starting Virtual Business Consultants, Inc.?

The overall challenges we faced when starting Virtual Business Consultants, Inc was the ability to find clients that fit the ideal need for a virtual assistant. As well as, proposing and convincing potential clients how beneficial a virtual assistant can be versus a full-time employee.

Thus far we have not faced any challenges from working from home. We are able to conduct all tasks via MS Office Software, phone, fax and email. Because Virtual Assistance is a home –based business it is important to establish a level of comfortability and trustworthiness by arranging a face to face meeting with your proposed client or at some point as you work together to aid in building a lasting relationship.

Our plans for Virtual Business Consultants, Inc in the next 5 years is to open a local virtual office with a staff of virtual assistants to support companies and organizations worldwide.

Our number one lesson for other women entrepreneurs is to establish and prioritize your goals. Establishing and prioritizing your goals creates destination points along your road to business success and helps you to keep focused along the way.
